Nutrition Consulting

Approach

Dealing with chronic digestive issues like IBS, IBD, SIBO, and GERD can be tough since they can have many different causes, sometimes severe symptoms, and can be difficult to manage. I'll work with you to create a personalized, long-term plan that includes dietary changes, supplements, and lifestyle adjustments. And I'll make sure to consider your individual needs, preferences, and goals. Together, we'll take things step by step and I'll be there to support you the entire way!

1. Discovery Call

  • Free, 20 minute phone call where we get to know each other and see if we're a good fit 🙂

Please note: If I think we'd potentially be a good fit based on your discovery call questionnaire, I'll accept your booking request. If not, I'll respectfully decline and provide some recommendations to professionals who may be a better fit based on what you're looking for. I may or may not know of anyone.

FAQ’s

  • I do not accept insurance. Most insurance companies only cover nutrition counseling for cardiovascular disease or diabetes. Even when the service is covered by insurance, the amount of reimbursement does not match the level of time and care that I provide to my clients.

To increase accessibility to my services, I offer a payment plan. I also accept Flex Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards.

When using FSA and HSA cards to pay for services, it is your responsibility to verify coverage for nutrition counseling with a functional nutritionist. Your plan may require that you have a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your doctor.

I can also provide a superbill to you for possible reimbursement through your insurance company, who may reimburse a portion of the cost.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Failure to give 24 hr notice will result in a $65 fee, which must be paid before your next appointment.

  • It depends. I work with clients in select states across the U.S.: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. All appointments are done through telehealth or by phone.

  • There are many benefits to virtual consulting. Here are just a few :

    • Traveling to and from appointments with severe digestive issues is not fun, but virtual consulting allows you to work with me from the comfort of your own home.

    • I can work with you even if you don’t live in or near Oregon.

    • Scheduling is super easy since you don’t have to worry about commuting.

    • Better quality of life for you!
